well, it’s been a productive day for me. at least i think. i rewired the 3-way light switch and fan combo in the sun-room so it actually works.
i also replaced the light switch in our bedroom with my super fancy electronic dimmer. it’s pretty hot stuff. so this event led to the discovery of some other… err.. interesting things. the light switches upstairs are still wired with ORIGINAL knob and tube wiring… oh my. so, in turning the breakers off downstairs, i found out that some of the outlets in my living room are on one circuit… others are on another circuit. for those not in the know, having one rooms outlets on different circuits means when they re-wired the house, the person who did it was lazy… or was the low-ball offer. in the end… it’s just irritating to everyone else down the line.
so that was pretty cool. i also cleaned the hell out of the 3 season room back here today… it looks soo much better. my dog, daisy, is sleeping on my feet underneath my desk. which reminds me… if we spray febreeze in the air and she smells it… she rolls around on the floor in it with no regard for anything around her. which would explain why she smells like febreeze citrus air. silly puppy.
chase, i don’t think i’ll ever be able to write as much as you. oh well. i’ll always have my… umm… power tools?
