shelly’s birthday party

saturday started off pretty sweet… erika fell of her bike… and hurt herself pretty good… jeff and i went and picked her up at the graco parking lot off benson road. that’s right, she rode her bike from our place to way the hell out there. apparently the wind caught her off guard and got her tire stuck between the trail and the grass… causing her to fall. i think she’s going to get elbow and knee pads now… that’ll be sweet.

shelly’s birthday party was a great time. there was cake, presents, trivial pursuit… even a camp fire with s’mores. we were at a loss when it came to what to get shelly for her bday… so we called her mom. she said: “paper shredder”. we said: “umm… ok”. so, that’s what we got her as dumb as it sounds. i think she really liked it, i mean, it did have a pencil sharpener built in after all.

after the food, which was only nascar endorsed products of course, w– shit… daisy just peed on the floor. –e headed outside for a campfire. erica and wade bought us a “fire-bit” as a gift (inside joke)… it’s one of the best gifts we’ve received. thanks guys, if we haven’t already said so.

we then came inside to play some dvd trivial pursuit courtesy of my buddy jeff. jeff came down to stay with us for a few days… it was good to see him, it had been over a year since i’d seen him last. we had a great time… but my team lost horribly. i believe jon and kendra won… sort of… shelly and phil may have also won… who knows.
