i’ve added a poll to the site… check it out when you have a moment… and vote… i’m thinking about adding a “shoutbox” to the side as well so we can just communicate via that rather than posting in the comments of articles…

Poll is to the side of this post and to clear up any confusion i’ve added pictures…

well, i guess this is kind of a tough one to answer. when an egg is placed on the table is it alread laying on it’s side, or is it laying on it’s bottom? if that is the case, i cut my egg in shortest diameter possible to preserve the blade of the knife. unless of course i am making deviled eggs. Then I cut the egg from the top to the bottom…errr is it side to side? Perhaps the question of top and bottom can be answered in the way in which the egg is delivered from the chicken (if the chikcen came first of course, if the egg came first we are just totally screwed) “And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. And God said, ‘Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.’” Genesis 1:10-20.

I can’t imagine an egg coming out of a chicken sideways, but i think that i would find much humor in such an event.

I believe i have an answer to how a chicken lays it egg. (extremely graphic XXX chicken pictures, clear the young kids from the room!)

regardless, I greatly enojy the poll. I have to work tonight until 11. perhaps we can finish over analyzing this later!

I don’t get why you would cut it side to side really. Because then you have one piece with mainly yolk and one piece that is mainly just the white blubber part. You need a combination of both… right?
