The bathroom is progressing nicely now. The final coat of mud went up today, texture and paint tomorrow, and possible the floor vent, then cement the seams and flooring. Toilet Monday, or perhaps sooner… I guess we’ll see. anyways, photos can be seen here. I hope everyone here has a great Christmas and stays safe all season… don’t be dumb kids .

still no car. called today and it turns out the owner is now working on it… apparently it’s being a real bear… they told me they’ve never had this much trouble with a honda before, and since honda’s are one of their specialties… that’s probably saying something… i talked with the head technician today, justin, nice guy. he told me that they’d take care of me and that he really appreciated me being as patient as i’ve been. luckily, they’re not billing me for all this diagnostic time while they try and figure out what’s wrong with ed. so so far i’ve only been billed for the initial inspection, oil change, air filter, idle valve, and the time it took to install the idle valve… probably close to $400. so the only additional time i’ll have on that is when they find the rest of the problem and the time to fix that… luckily there shouldn’t be any more expensive parts he said though… keep hoping that maybe tomorrow i’ll get my car back… in the meantime the office was nice enough to let me drive the toureg around… but the check engine light is on and it runs really strangely… perhaps it’s just me?!
